Everything Convena does today

Convena turns one sentence into an event workspace: a branded registration page, attendee questions, an agenda, tickets and every attendee email. You edit and approve it all. Then it takes registrations and payments (to your Stripe account), sends the emails you approved, checks people in and keeps their history.

Event pages

  • In person, online or hybrid.

Venue for in-person events; a meeting link for online ones, shown only to registered attendees.

  • Time zones done properly.

Each event has its own time zone. Visitors elsewhere also see the start in their own time, and calendar files carry the exact moment.

  • Capacity and a waitlist.

Set a limit across all tickets (and per ticket). When it's full, people join the waitlist; free places go to the waitlist in order automatically, and you offer paid places with one press.

  • Your branding.

Your name, color and logo on the page, the embedded form and every email.

Registration and tickets

  • Your own questions.

Short and long answers, a choice from a list, or a checkbox, required or optional. Name and email are always asked.

  • Free and paid tickets.

Several ticket types with their own prices, quantities and sales end dates, and promo codes (percent or amount off, with use limits and end dates).

  • Payments go to you.

Paid tickets use Stripe Connect: attendees pay you directly on your Stripe account. Convena never holds their money. Stripe is only asked for once you add a paid ticket.

  • Spam protection.

A hidden field and a minimum fill time on every form, limits per email address, connection and event, and Cloudflare Turnstile when it's switched on.

Emails you approve

  • Drafted for you, sent only when approved.

Confirmation (with a calendar file and a link to the attendee's page), waitlist and cancellation emails, reminders, updates, invitations and a follow-up. Nothing goes until you approve it; editing an approved email puts it back to draft.

  • Sent once, reliably.

Every email goes to each address once, even if something retries, and a confirmation that fails to send is tried again.

  • Unsubscribe and consent.

Every email except registration emails has a one-click unsubscribe. Invitations go only to past attendees who ticked the box to hear about your future events.

  • A feedback survey.

    The follow-up can carry a two-question survey: a 1 to 5 rating and a comment.

On the day and after

  • Check-in with QR codes.

Every confirmed attendee gets a pass with a QR code. Scan it with your phone's camera while signed in to check them in, or use the check-in list.

  • Cancellations and refunds.

Attendees cancel from their own page; you cancel or refund from the attendee list (refunds are made on your Stripe account).

  • CSV export.

Every attendee, ticket, payment and answer, one column per question.

  • Attendee history and templates.

See who keeps coming back across your events, and run the next event from a template of the last one.

  • An embeddable registration widget.

Two lines of code put the registration form on your own website, in your colors.
