AI event launchpad

Launch your next event without juggling five tools.

Describe your event in one sentence. Convena drafts the registration page, attendee questions, agenda and emails; you edit everything and approve it before anything is published or sent.

Sample data

Example: London Tech Collective and this event are made up, to show what a draft looks like.

One event, five tools, a dozen copy-pastes.

A page builder for the event, a form tool for questions, a payment link, a mailing tool for reminders, a spreadsheet for the door list. Every change has to be made in each of them, and the attendee emails are the part that gets forgotten.

  • The registration page, the form and the emails say different things.
  • Reminders go out late, or to the wrong list.
  • Next month's event starts again from a blank page.

How it works

From one sentence to a page people can register on.

  1. Describe it in a sentence

"A 150-person technology networking event in London." Convena reads the kind of event, the size, the place and any price.

  2. Get a full draft

A branded registration page, the questions to ask attendees, an agenda, tickets, and the confirmation, reminder and follow-up emails.

  3. Edit and approve

Change any word, date or ticket. Every email waits for your approval; publishing waits until the confirmation email is approved.

  4. Publish and test

Your page goes live. Register yourself once to see exactly what attendees get, then share the link or embed the form on your site.

Who it's for

Built for people who run events again and again

  • Webinar organizers

Online events get a meeting link that only registered people see (in their confirmation, reminders and their own page), a reminder a day before and an hour before, and a follow-up with a feedback survey. Save the first as a template and run the series from it.

  • Community builders

Capacity and an automatic waitlist for free meetups, a check-in list with a QR code per attendee, and attendee history across events. Invite past attendees who asked to hear about the next one in two clicks.

  • Professional hosts

Paid workshops and conferences: ticket types, promo codes and refunds, with attendees paying you directly through your own Stripe account. Export every attendee and answer to a spreadsheet.

Features

Everything an event needs, in one place

  • In person, online or hybrid.

Venue for in-person events; a meeting link for online ones, shown only to registered attendees.

  • Time zones done properly.

Each event has its own time zone. Visitors elsewhere also see the start in their own time, and calendar files carry the exact moment.

  • Capacity and a waitlist.

Set a limit across all tickets (and per ticket). When it's full, people join the waitlist; free places go to the waitlist in order automatically, and you offer paid places with one press.

  • Your branding.

Your name, color and logo on the page, the embedded form and every email.

  • Your own questions.

Short and long answers, a choice from a list, or a checkbox, required or optional. Name and email are always asked.

  • Free and paid tickets.

Several ticket types with their own prices, quantities and sales end dates, and promo codes (percent or amount off, with use limits and end dates).

  • Payments go to you.

Paid tickets use Stripe Connect: attendees pay you directly on your Stripe account. Convena never holds their money. Stripe is only asked for once you add a paid ticket.

  • Spam protection.

A hidden field and a minimum fill time on every form, limits per email address, connection and event, and Cloudflare Turnstile when it's switched on.

Payments, fees and your data

Straight answers before you start

  • Payments go to you. Attendees pay you through your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). You're the merchant; Convena never holds attendee money.
  • Fees you can see. Free events cost nothing extra. Paid tickets carry Stripe's processing fees and no Convena ticket fee today. If a platform fee is ever set, it's shown to you before you sell.
  • Nothing sent without you. No email reaches an attendee until you approve it. The AI drafts; you decide.
  • Your data, exportable. Download everything as JSON or attendees as a spreadsheet, forget one person, or delete your workspace. Attendee details are never sent to the AI.
  • Transparent pricing. Plans from $19 a month with a 7-day free trial, and you can publish your first event before choosing one.

Before you choose a plan: draft as many events as you like, and publish 1 event with up to 50 registrations to try it with real people. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial; a card is asked for and nothing is charged until it ends.

Free events cost nothing extra. On paid tickets, attendees pay you directly through your own Stripe account: you pay Stripe's processing fees, and Convena adds no ticket fee unless a platform fee is shown to you before you sell (it's 0% today).

Questions organizers ask

What does Convena do?

You describe an event in one sentence and Convena drafts an editable event workspace: a branded registration page, attendee questions, an agenda, tickets, and confirmation, reminder and follow-up emails. You edit and approve everything, then publish. It also handles payments through your Stripe account, check-in with QR codes and attendee history.

Can I try Convena without an account?

Yes. Type one sentence on the try page and see your draft event page, registration form and emails. Nothing is published or sent, and the draft is kept for 24 hours. Create an account to publish it; the draft comes with you.

Does Convena send emails without my approval?

No. The AI drafts copy and agendas. No email reaches an attendee until you approve it, and an event can't be published until you've approved its confirmation email. Edit an approved email and it goes back to draft.

What happens without AI?

If AI drafting isn't available, Convena builds the draft from a template for your kind of event (webinar, meetup, workshop or conference) with the details from your sentence filled in, and says so on the draft.

Who receives the ticket money with Convena?

You do. Paid tickets are charged on your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, so you're the merchant of record and payouts go from Stripe to your bank. Convena never holds attendee money.

What are the fees?

Free events cost nothing extra. On paid tickets, attendees pay you directly through your own Stripe account: you pay Stripe's processing fees, and Convena adds no ticket fee unless a platform fee is shown to you before you sell (it's 0% today).

Do I need Stripe for free events?

No. Free events need no payment setup at all. Convena only asks you to connect Stripe once you add a paid ticket.

What counts toward my plan?

An event counts the first time it's published; a registration counts when it's confirmed. Your own test registrations, waitlist sign-ups and drafts never count. Starter includes 2 published events a month and 250 registrations a month; Pro has unlimited published events.

Can attendees cancel, and can I refund?

Attendees cancel from the private link in their emails, and the next person on the waitlist moves up. You can cancel anyone, and refund paid tickets in full from the attendee list; refunds are made on your Stripe account.

How does check-in work?

Every confirmed attendee gets a page with a QR code. At the door, scan it with your phone's camera while signed in to Convena and press Check in, or use the searchable check-in list. Export the list as a spreadsheet any time.

Can I put the registration form on my own website?

Yes. Copy two lines of code from the event's Share page into your site. The form appears in your colors and resizes to fit; paid tickets continue to Stripe in the full window.
